This dataset contains data files used and generated for the analysis in Benbrik et al., 2025.
Files for QIIME2 The following files are required for importing into QIIME2 to create a taxonomy database from cultured isolates:
* `isolate-ASVs.txt` - ITS sequences from fungal isolates * `isolate-taxonomy.txt` - Taxonomic classifications of fungal isolates
Sample metadata for rhizoplane sequence analysis, sequences can be found in the NCBI, accession number: PRJNA1067980. * `metadata.tsv` - Sample metadata validated with Keemei
## Files for R These files are QIIME2 outputs for creating a phyloseq object with corresponding sample data:
* `ASVs_abundance.txt` - Contains amplicon sequence variant (ASV) abundances * `ASVs_taxonomy_isolates.csv` - Taxonomic classifications from the isolate database * `ASVs_taxonomy_unite.csv` - Taxonomic classifications from UNITE database (v9.0) * `tree.nwk` - Rooted phylogenetic tree in Newick format * `metadata.csv` - Sample metadata
